Weight and fat reduction

EMS promotes a sustained reduction in body weight and body fat: The high metabolic activity during and up to many hours after the EMS training causes a high work turnover and the sustainable development of lean muscle mass a significant increase in basal metabolic rate.

With EMS training, a reduction in the body circumference was noted, especially in the problem areas waist, hip and thigh, with simultaneous tightening of the chest and arms.

In men, EMS training leads to a decrease in size at the waist while maintaining constancy or slight increase in the gluteal muscles. Further hypertrophy effects allow a significant increase in the arms, chest, back and legs.

Effects of Muscle Stimulation on Strength

With EMS, a stronger contraction of the muscle can be generated than with arbitrary force development. The fast-twitch Type 2 muscle fibers and core muscles have also been proven to be beneficial.

Maximum strength and endurance

Untrained persons can only reach about 40 to 70% of their power potential arbitrarily. EMS reduces this power deficit between maximum and absolute force, because EMS better synchronises and activates the motor units. Also the strength endurance increases by EMS demonstrably noticeably.

Muscle building (hypertrophy)

The above-mentioned maximum strength gains from EMS are mainly due to an increase in muscle mass. Circumference enlargements on the chest, arms and legs are often noticeable after only a few training sessions.

Better posture, stronger back

With EMS, you can specifically address and effectively train these difficult muscle groups; In particular with the Dysbalance consequence and "common illness" back pain the training can noticeably contribute to relieve discomfort. At the same time compensatory incorrect postures are corrected, which in turn leads to an improvement of posture and flexibility.

Muscle building after operations

Several studies have shown that EMS can effectively accelerate muscle recovery after surgery. The use in the acute phase shortly after the procedure has proven particularly promising.

Performance increase in sport

Power is power-reducing in many sports. EMS is a good fit when it comes to specifically building sport-specific strength, improving the quality of muscle contractions and balancing imbalances.

In addition, EMS offers itself in competitive sports with its many technology- and tactical-specific training units as a time-saving alternative to conventional strength training (an increasingly important argument for Olympic training centers or sports clubs to cooperate with Bodystreet).

Protection of the musculoskeletal system

EMS training is "extra load free". Training intensity is not caused by high weights at EMS, but by electrical stimulation. And that is much gentler on the joints and musculoskeletal system.

In EMS training, the training intensities are generated by electrostimulation. Thus, a joint-gentle training without extra load by weights / dumbbells is possible.

Compensation of muscular imbalances

EMS allows targeted activation of muscle groups. This is especially important when compensating for muscular differences. For example, sitting for a long time at the desk leads to a shortening of the chest muscles with simultaneous weakening of the shoulder and back muscles.
